Our roots are in the music scene. Now, we’re starting conversations everywhere.
Hope For The Day (H.F.T.D) is a non-profit movement empowering the conversation on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education. Through outreach, education, and action, we equip people with the right tools to be proactive in their communities.
H.F.T.D. emerged from the pop punk music scene — a community that was already having hard conversations but lacked the tools and language to support each other through them. What started as a grassroots movement has grown into a 15-year organization touching schools, concert halls, streaming platforms, coffee shops, and corporate boardrooms.
We have an authentic, bordering on edgy brand that helps people in certain communities feel more comfortable opening up about vulnerable things. We feel drawn to support communities that are under-represented, and our brand meets them where they are.
What Makes Us Different
We show up in the places other mental health organizations don't — in mosh pits and music venues, on Twitch streams and gaming threads. Over 90% of our funding comes from our community - Peer to Peer fundraising, individual donations and local partners.
Our approach is proactive, not reactive. We meet the people where they are and don't wait for someone to reach a crisis point.
