86 The Silence.

A bilingual mental health education and resource initiative built specifically for the hospitality sector.

eighty-six | /ˈeɪdiˌsɪks/ | verb, informal — to reject, discard, or cancel. In food service: to indicate that an item is no longer available. We're 86-ing the silence around mental health.

The Program

H.F.T.D.'s 86 The Silence workshop is designed to teach individuals in the hospitality industry how to understand self-care and support proactive mental health care for others. We press the discussion about stigma, its impact on individuals and communities, and teach practical skills for early recognition of mental health challenges that often go unaddressed — building to a crisis stage.

You serve your community. Now, let's support it.

Join us in coming together for an amazing meal to help prevent suicide in the hospitality segment.
