April Things We Don't Say Workshop: Sponsored by Old Irving Brewing

  • Logan Square Branch, Chicago Public Library 3030 West Fullerton Avenue Chicago, IL, 60647 United States (map)

Things We Don't Say is a presentation created by Hope For The Day as an entry level education on Peer-to-Peer Proactive Suicide Prevention providing language and tools to take action on our personal mental health and be supportive to peers in our community.

Hope For The Day's pioneering programming focuses on reducing suicide rates by disrupting and eliminating the highest risk factors for reaching a stage of mental health crisis.

This is a free presentation. Make sure to register to attend though walk-ins are welcome.

The PEERvention Workshop Class will return in 5/18. This month we are giving the community an opportunity to attend our 1-hour version, called Things We Don't Say. And this month, our education is sponsored by Old Irving Brewing! As Partners in Prevention, Old Irving Brewing has brought HFTD education to their staff in additiong to collaborating with our founder, Jonny Boucher, on a special beer for Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

*Note: there is free limited parking in the Logan Square Library parking lot.
