On Friday, May 26, React Presents will team up with Hope For The Day for a special “Bass Gives Me Hope” party supporting suicide prevention and mental health education. Taking place at Chicago’s Subterranean, the event will feature a headlining performance from acclaimed Philadelphia-based DJ G-Buck! Tickets are on sale now via Bassgivesmehope.com . In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Cleveland based artist Derek Hess is partnering with Hope for the Day and Threadless for a special one night only screening of his film "Forced Perspective". Join us for the film and a Q&A with Derek Hess and filmmaker Nick Cavalier in Threadless's HQ! Accompanying the film will be acoustic performances by Matthew Santos and Dustin Currier, two Chicago musicians that contributed music to picture for Forced Perspective.
