Hope For The Day is kicking off the holiday season with our signature fundraising event, THE HOPE BALL on December 1st at The Annex, Chicago. The gala invites all members of our Chicagoland community to come together and celebrate the future of mental health, brightened by our supporters’ dedication to helping us break the stigma and raise the visibility of resources. Together we have created a community where we honor the diverse range of mental health challenges and recognize the importance of mental health care. We can’t wait to celebrate the true impact of our community’s proactive endeavors!

We hope you can join us for a fantastic evening celebration, featuring cocktails by women-owned and operated, Small Talk Hospitality, and food by some of Chicago’s finest culinary artists and establishments including, Mark Steuer of Funkenhausen, Amanda Shepard of Lula Cafe, Cameron Grant of Osteria Langhe, Ross Henke of Quiote, and more. The night will also include live music by The Right Now, a silent auction, and speeches made by the recipients of this year’s Industry Leader and Partner in Prevention Awards.

This year 100% of The Hope Ball proceeds will go towards supporting HFTD’s mental health education programs in the Chicagoland area and beyond. We are proud to disclose that funding from last year’s event went directly towards opening our social enterprise coffee shop, Sip of Hope in May 2018. The coffee shop is the first coffee shop in the world where baristas are mental health first aid trained and 100% of the proceeds are donated to proactive suicide prevention outreach and mental health education. Since its opening, it has been featured on the Today Show with Megyn Kelly as well as by The Obama Foundation, and all local media outlets including NPR, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, WGN TV & Radio, ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX.

We look forward to providing outreach and education to as many people as possible with your support. All you have to do is party with us! And Have Hope.
